Hey everyone,
We’re thrilled to let you know that we are officially wrapping up production on Intergalactic Wrestling Federation #2! Right now, we’re finalizing the last bits of color work and assembling the “Making Of” bonus content that many of you helped unlock through your support and stretch goals.
📅 Digital PDFs will be distributed to all backers next Monday, March 31.
🖨️ We will also be sending the files to the printer that same week to begin production on physical rewards!
This has been a long road, and we want to thank you all sincerely for your patience throughout. Between unexpected delays and recovering from my back injury, things took longer than planned. But the finish line is finally here, and the final product is absolutely worth it. IWF #2 is, without a doubt, the wildest, most over-the-top, blood-soaked installment yet, and I’m incredibly proud of how it's come together.
To celebrate, we’ve included a few black-and-white preview pieces of artwork below. These sneak peeks showcase the detailed linework and raw energy that went into crafting this issue.

Update: Nearly Ready for the Printer!

Hello IWF Backers,
I’m excited to share that we are very close to sending IWF #2 off to the printer! In the next 2-3 weeks, you can expect a major update as we finalize the finishing touches. Recovering from my back injury has been a struggle, and it’s slowed down not just this project, but also commission work and other projects. However, I’m digging myself out and working as hard as possible to make this book truly impressive.
We've even had to rework some pages that were done earlier in the process to ensure the quality and epic feel of IWF #2. The sample pages in this update showcase the polished retro comic style, over-the-top action, and a level of gore and violence that’s unmatched—trust me, no one is quite prepared for what’s coming! This will be my best work to date, and I know it’ll be worth the wait.

We’re excited to share that Intergalactic Wrestling Federation (IWF) Issue #2 is very close to being finished! Thank you all for your continued patience and support as we put the final touches on the book. We’re working hard to ensure it’s the best possible IWF experience for you.
While I, R.L. Black, am making steady progress in recovering from my back injury, I’m not back to 100% yet. This has slowed production, but I remain committed to delivering a high-quality book. I am taking no commissions and focusing 100% on finishing this project. Some sections of the book are also being reworked to enhance the overall reading experience and make it truly unforgettable. Every page is being refined to ensure this is the best IWF book you’ve ever picked up.

Production Update for IWF#2 - Thank You for Your Patience!

Hello IWF#2 Backers,
First, I want to thank you all for your incredible patience and support as we work to finish producing Intergalactic Wrestling Federation (IWF) Issue #2. I know many of you have been eagerly awaiting the book and your rewards, and I sincerely apologize for the delays we've experienced.
A few weeks ago, I (R.L. Black, the artist responsible for IWF#2) suffered a severe back injury that has significantly slowed down our production schedule. Due to pinched nerves in my lower spine, I’ve been unable to sit and draw for more than a few minutes at a time, which has naturally impacted our progress. However, there has been some recent improvement! I’ve set up a standing work station, and while it’s been a challenge, I’m slowly getting back into drawing regularly. I’m currently using an iPad instead of my usual tabletop drawing monitor, but rest assured, I’m doing everything I can to keep things moving forward.
At this pace, I expect to have the book and the remaining rewards completed by mid-November. As always, I’m committed to delivering the best possible product to you all, and I’m so grateful for your understanding during this time.
To show our appreciation for your patience, we’re adding an additional 8"x10" Kickstarter-exclusive print for all physical backers as a thank-you. In addition, we’re also including a special iPhone background as a non-physical reward for all backers. I hope these extra rewards will bring some excitement as we approach the finish line.
